Help Us Shape the AI Agents Symposium in Rourkela

We are planning a full day on AI agents in Rourkela, Odisha, and we are writing this before the date is booked rather than after.

The reason is simple. A symposium is only worth running if the people it is for actually want it, can actually get there on the day, and get something they can use on the Monday after. We can guess at all three, or we can ask. So this post is the asking.

What we have decided

Not much, deliberately.

  • The subject. AI agents: what they are useful for, what they are not, and what it takes to run one against real company data without it inventing answers.
  • The place. Rourkela, Odisha. It is home for a lot of our team, and the region has more people building with this technology than the conference circuit currently reflects.
  • The shape. One day, roughly 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. A mix of talks, panels, live demos and hands-on workshops rather than a stage and a passive room.
  • Who it is for. Companies, developers, students and anyone else who wants to build with this properly. Not a vendor pitch.

What we have not decided

The three things that matter most.

The date. We are aiming at Q4 2026, and that is as specific as it gets right now. A weekday works better for companies sending people. A weekend works better for students and for anyone travelling in. We would rather pick the one that gets the right room than the one that suits our calendar.

The topics. There is a wide gap between the talk people give about agents and the talk people need. We could fill a day with architecture. We could fill it with governance and evaluation. We could fill it with someone standing on stage debugging an agent that will not behave, which is closer to what the work actually feels like. Tell us which day you would clear your diary for.

How much of it is hands-on. Workshops are the part attendees rate highest and the part that limits numbers, because a room where everyone is building needs more helpers per head than a room where everyone is listening. The balance depends on how many of you want to build on the day.

Three questions

If you would consider coming, we would like to know:

  1. Would you attend, and would you be travelling in or already nearby?
  2. Which works better for you, a weekday or a weekend, and is any part of Q4 impossible?
  3. What is the one topic that would make the day worth your time?

The third question is the one we care about most. "AI agents" is a category, not an agenda, and the difference between a useful day and a forgettable one is whether the sessions answer something you are actually stuck on.

How to tell us

The event page at iseyon.com/ai-symposium has the details we have so far and the form for registering interest. It takes a minute, it is not a commitment to attend, and the answers decide the date and the agenda.

If you would rather send a longer answer, or you want to speak, run a workshop, or bring a team, get in touch and say so directly. We are also interested in hearing from people who would not come, and why. That is useful too.

We will publish what we hear back, including the date once the responses point at one.
